...on the boards who DOESN'T watch nor cares about the Superbowl? Just wondering. Nothing against those who do watch and enjoy it, but football and the whole Superbowl hubbub thing just have never done anything for me...

No football, especially the Superbowl, for either of us in our house. I never learned about football and cannot watch something that I don't understand. Hubby doesn't watch any pro sports either. It was a beautiful night so he was out playing with his airplanes.

70% of the "not interested" so far are Canadian. Just saying.

Most people I know watch it, and are into football, but we don't have nearly the same crazy college football culture here - and I think that drives it's popularity more in the USA. Canadians also don't have any NFL teams - but we do have CFL. In any case, hockey is the religion here - but I don't care about hockey either...

The annoying thing about not liking football in Canada is that we don't get to see the big Superbowl commercials here - not over the local broadcast, anyway.

Even though I refer to it as "The Stupid Bowl" I do not hate Football. Yet on the other hand I really don't get into it enough to want to sit down and make a day out of it with a bunch of guys watching a bunch of guys play grab *** on the field. That is definitely not MY idea of real entertainment. To each their own though as always.

I did happen to catch the half time show and that I did like. That was entertaining to me. I watched it until it ended then Football came back on and I said see ya! And just to think I happened to run across it by total accident while flipping channels patiently awaiting "Once Upon A Time" to come on.

I do like "some" of the Superbowl commercials, but I tend to watch them else where and not during the Superbowl.

Even though I am working on a Mego scale football field I am really more of a Baseball kind of guy. The Super Bowl is just too commercialized and way over rated for my taste.

You beat me to the punch...I was gonna say very few countries outside the USA has much interest in the Super Bowl.

Having said that...I'm an avid fan...so I certainly watched it...and glad the Giants won.

Ha! my wife's parents are at Disney World right now and they said it's the deadest they've ever seen it, only a couple people in line for Toy Story Mania. They must be Canadians too.

Damn, that idea is gold! I'm planning a trip to Florida next winter and I never even thought about going to Disney on Super Bowl Sunday. Brilliant!
