    David Letterman

Although I stopped watching him some time ago today is the show's 30th anniversary. Hard to believe. I remember watching some of his most famous moments.

I like the show. I use to watch Letterman often. I like his top 10 and some of his skits as well as the different people he has own the show.

        I much prefer Craig Ferguson.

Conan I feel I should like, but I just can't.

Letterman's gotten too political for my taste.

I can remember when he had a small talk show in Indiana.

I dig Letterman...but have not watched late night shows in years.

I stick to cable programming nowadays.

I actually got to watch the show live 3 times when he was with NBC. My brother used to get tickets all the time and we would drive to NYC (about 2.5 hours) and make a day of it. It's pretty cool watching the show live but he likes to keep the studio REALLY COLD!!!! One of the times we were in town to see the show, we ate at Planet Hollywood. Bruce Willis was scheduled to be on the show that night and, as we were sitting eating, I remarked that it would be cool if he showed up there as he is part owner of PH. I no sooner said that then there was a stirring and a crowd of people came in. I turn around and Willis walks right behind me and through a door to a private seating area. He came out just as we were leaving to promote his newest movie at the time and he handed out T-shirts. I was right up against the roped off area and he handed one right to me. Then we got to see him at the show. Pretty cool experience all around.

Chances are the studio is kept really cold due to the fact that Dave and his guests are under so much lighting which tends to get very hot for them.

I find Leno and Conan painfully unfunny and Letterman always comes off as a cranky bitter old man.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Leno never really impressed me much either. I think I watched Conan a total of one time. Ferguson is cool though.

That's definitely true but he keeps it colder than normal. A couple of his guests have even made comments about how cold it was. It is FRIGID in there. I think my fridge is warmer.

If I had to pick anyone in their 2012 incarnation, I would have a hard time choosing between Ferguson and O'Brien. I'd take vintage Letterman over both, and I'd probably take Carson over vintage Dave.

                            Obviously Arsenio trumps them all.

I haven't seen any late night comedian in years. On most weeknights; I can barely keep my eyes open past 10:30 pm
