Mary Reily. The first and only movie I ever fell asleep watching in a theater.

I mean how can you screw up that premise? Add Julia Roberts.

I distinctly remember being yanked out of a movie my dad took me to.

      Deathtrap

Of course I had to see any film with Chris Reeve. We never expected him soul kissing Michael Caine. We were outa there quick, fast and in a hurry. To this day I've never seen how it ends.
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

        Hmmmm....

For me it was "Gladiator." That movie kinda ruined movies for me.

I could TRY to explain Deathtrap to you- but it would just make your head explode. You just have to watch it yourself.

I am never embarassed at watching a movie myself but have found myself embarassed if I am with someone else who I think might feel offended. I know my wife despises movies with graphic sex scenes regardless of the movie. We have been to a few movies that I have recommended over the years with my wife and unbeknownst to me, there is a graphic scene that I know makes her feel uncomfortable. I'm not embarassed myself but just embarassed that I inadvertently made someone else feel uncomfortable.

This didn't occur at the theater but back in High School during a first date; she recommended watching a movie on VHS. My High School English teacher who happened to also be the theater teacher always gushed about how great a movie "A Clockwork Orange" was. I had never heard of it and neither had the girl I was trying to impress on the first date, so I rented it without reading the plot. Needless to say, I was very embarassed at my inappropriate choice of movies for a first date.

I was recently a bit embarrased at a movie BEFORE it started.

I went to get seats while my wife went to get snacks. As I looked around the jam-packed theater I realized I was pretty much the only person over 20 AND the only one without a uterus. It made feel a little like I was some kind of dirty old man. My wife can save the seats the next time she makes me take her to an installment of the Twilight series

I guess I should pre-warn you about the upcoming movie "The Hunger Games". This book has the same demographics as "Twilight" and is red hot right now. I think it is going to be in theaters in a couple of months.

Ok. for Starters Grease 2 was awesome!!!

The only movie I was ever embarrassed to be at was Bruno. After my son and I enjoying Borat so much, when Bruno came out, we thought it would be awesome. However, taking my 14 year old son to see that movie...well, I didn't get "Parent of the Year".

Rhinestone was a good movie too. You people are harsh!

Never embarrassed in a theatre before, but I once saw a movie that had so many uncomfortable scenes in it, and was just so weird, that half the audience eventually ended up walking out. Average mainstream folks just couldn't handle watching David Cronenberg's CRASH.

I remember being uncomfortable during videos at home though, whenever I was watching a movie with my parents and all of sudden there were boobies on the screen. I would be excited and mortified at the same time.

Try watching that scene from When Harry meet sally with grownups. Horrible for any teen....

This was the Belgian director's cut. ET's light up chest burst open and an infant Michael Moore popped out.
