It's a Chapter 11 bankruptcy which isn't the worst kind....it gives the company an opportunity to restructure and exit bankruptcy. I worked for a company that went through Chapter 11. It allowed them to continue operating and under bankruptcy law allows them to basically nullify almost any contract.

That is correct.

I personally think that it is a sure fire way to get rid of Unions these days.

Hopefully it will not be the case here for the people at Hostess. We shall see how the cookie crumbles though.
