Last Band You Saw Live

JUst curious. I realize some of my co-workers haven't seen a live band for many, many years. I definitely do not see nearly the same amount of live acts as I did decades ago.

For me, the last show I saw was Band Of Skulls at a small bar in NYC. I enjoyed it even more than I thought. I do have tickets for the Black Keys playing with the Arctic Monkeys in March. Really looking forward to seeing both bands again.

Like 2007 ...
Velvet Revolver / Alice In Chains " The Return..., with the New Singer" .

From like 1987 ... to 2007 I saw like well over 100 Concerts ..., It's what I did.
Bands like Pantera, Metallica , Soundgarden , 5+ each ...., Other stuff like Peral Jam , Tool, Korn, Zombie, GruntTruck .... 3+ timers ....

I almost went to Soundgarden again this past summer, but the chips didn't fall in place...
I'd go to a show, if I didn't work that night ..., and if it was something I really wanted to see.

The Supersuckers- got kicked in the head for stealing Eddie Spagetti's beer's off stage. Or maybe it was for trying to use the bottle as a slide on Dan Bolton's guitar. I thought I was Elmore James for some reason.

Usually try to see The Sadies on NYE in T.O., somehow last time my wife got them to dedicate "Lazy Day" (Flying Burrito Brothers cover) to us as the encore. Was a special moment for me.

I love seeing live bands and go as much as I can. It's one of the reasons I love living downtown. Wednesday night I saw a local band called Joyful Sinners, a small but really skilled band - does mostly covers - New Orleans R&B and soul.

I'll probably catch a couple of random live acts on New Years too.
