RUSH - this past spring and also last year in the summer. Same tour "Time Machine" and the best concert I was ever at, no contest. The Moving Pictures album live was unbelievable.

Back in the 80's I saw quite a few. City Island in Harrisburg was the site of many awesome concerts.

        Scorpions (awesome live show)
        Def Leppard
        Night Ranger
        .38 Special
        Motley Crew
        Ratt
        Journey
        Whitney Houston
        Kenny G

too many to list. Never saw Van Halen and can't tell you how disappointed I am. Guess I might have the chance with them reunited, for the most part.

Hopefully the next show I see will be Ralph Stanley. I've been not-so-subtlely hinting that tickets are what I want for my birthday.
Hey! Where's the waiter with the water for my daughter?

It was surreal. There were a few crew members, a security guy, the bassist, Plant and 8 fans. It wasn't at all like a photo op were you shake hands get your picture and autograph and leave. We were in a large, well lit room with drinks on a lunchroom style table.
He made the rounds of people in the room. We talked music briefly but landed on lack of world news coverage in the US -or at least lack of perspective. He had a glass of wine in hand and offered to get me one. One of the crew had already given me a beer.

Wow. Either Echo and the Bunnymen lasted longer than I thought or the House of Blues has been around for way longer than I knew of.

Yep, you gotta go. In recent years I've seen Elvis Costello a couple times, and (unlike a lot of his contemporaries) he is still phenomenal live.

Favorite was Paul and Linda McCartney and band front row in Germany, 1991, but the last was the Stones in '03.
