I think the Redskins game against the Cowboys was a text book example of an emotional team playing for everything versus a team that had little to play for outside of personal records. The Skins are a team riding into the playoffs with alot of fluff hype and more than a few false hopes. Seattle will bury them and then head off to Green Bay to be crushed. Dallas will most likely play and beat the Giants and wait to retire Brett Farve at Texas Stadium. I see an all silver and blue Super-Bowl between Dallas and New England. Should be a real barn burner.

I think it's interesting that in 2001 the Pats were the feel good "all one team" underdog and now they are the New York Yankees of the NFL. I didn't set out to root for the Patriots, but they are beyond excellent and I like to root for excellence. I hope they win the Super Bowl and set a mark that no one will touch for decades. And I hope they beat the Cowboys to do it.

That's a good point...and one I was trying to make earlier. When they were the Underdog...every body was rooting for Them. But now that They're the "top Dog"...everybody hates Them? I guess that's what happens when You put together the BEST Team EVER essembled.

Not me I've always hated the Pats but then again it's more of a rival thing with Miami so you Pats fans no what I mean, and now them winning so much it just elevates that hate

Plus I don't think i've ever hated a player more then hate Brady He's been lucky to end up with some pretty good teams,I'd like to see him play in teams like my Phins of 07 or the Lions of the past few years. He'd be nothing in the NFL if it wasn't for the teams he's had

What teams? His three rings came with members nobody else in the league could name. If it was the team why haven't any of the players that left for the money done squat? Not one. Even Deion Branch has been crappy in Seattle. If Reche Caldwell could catch they would have won it all last year. And he was the #1 option at wide receiver. He isn't even a starter on the Redskins. It'll be interesting to see if they can retain this line up. They should get the #7 pick and I think they'll trade it away for multiple lower picks in the draft. Scott Pioli will turn them into 3 or 4 pro Bowl players in the next 3 years and the cycle will start all over again. Someday Brady will retire and then the rest of the league can play! YEAH! Tom Brady's DA MAN!

And it don't hurt to have Randy Moss receiving either!

I have tremendous respect for the Patriots and if they can pull off a perfect 19-0, I think it will be a far greater achievement than what the Dolphins did. The media scrutiny over tha first Jets game would have buried your average NFL team, but the Patriots used it as inspiration to go out there and prove no camcorder can replace a good ole fashion butt whoopin'... THAT BEING SAID... I'm first and foremost a Dallas Cowboy fan. It's time to see America's Team back on top. Beating a team that comes in 18-0 would never be forgotten. With the way Dallas has been playing as of late, it's probably not likely, but if they find their "A" game in the playoffs, then I truly believe they will can do it. Either way, this has been one h*ll of a good year for football. I have enjoyed watching the game more than I ever have and I think we're in the midst of another glory era in legendary teams. Soak it up and enjoy it, while it lasts!

There's so much impossibly bad, boring football being played in the NFL. The 49ers and Raiders have been UNWATCHABLE for a few years now. So I'm happy to watch the Patriots do it right...

I loved it when they came back after that Moss drop and ran the exact same play for the go ahead TD against the Giants. "Just try and stop us..."

Massachussetts dominates in two sports now. Baseball and football have two great teams now. It's good to see after all of those lean years. I'm rooting for the Patriots now that my team (the vikings) didn't make the playoffs.

^^^ Aaaahhh, Agreed. But you forget that famous Play Off game in the snow,.. Where the Raiders Beat Them. But because of a "Ref" Stating that Brady's pass was Thrown foward , in which it clearly was NOT, The Cheatriots went on to the SuperBowl, & Screwed the Raiders. I'm sorry,.. I'm just done watching these Guys with Football. With alittle luck, hopefully it will be more like what the 85 Bears did to them in the SuperBowl.

Do you think he'd have 50 TD passes if Moss wasn't there? come on man don't fool yourself, just look at his previous stats it's easy to throw the ball up and have Moss jump and get it

He's had the luck of having a great O line, which I'm pretty sure no one could name their own teams O line cause these are players no one remembers

Plus just look at the Defense he's had

Like I said if he could do that in a team like Miami or Detroit then he'd be bad,but with that o-line and the Defense Marino could come back & throw 50 TDs

You can't blame the Patriots if God hates the Raiders.
