I remember it from my childhood. The fact that he could have a kid's show bolws my mind as a adult,

I never could understand that either. On HBO he was as dirty as he wanted to be, but then like that on saturday mornings? Come on....
It would be almost like George Carlin having a saturday morning show

That is the only way I recall it as well. Never saw the show, saw the comic ad.

Unquestionably the best he ever did. I tell you, when Pryor is the janitor at the department store and playing with the Wonder Wheel.....that display of boxed MEGO behind him is AMAZING!

Did you ever see PeeWee's Playhouse when he did it as a stand up, before the Saturday morning kid's show?? How it went from that to a kid's show, I will never know. No one should be shocked he got into the troubles he got into.

Ever read the uncensored Grimm fairy Tales? they were pretty morbid and frightening for kids they got pretty watered down as you may know.

CBS came to PeeWee and offered HIM a ****load of money to clean it up and he did and made a classic TV show.......

So one day he was playing with his chicken in a PORN THEATER were Detectives were Watching HIM beat his meat? So who are the bigger pigs? they outed him because someone reconized that he was Paul Ruebens.......mind you there were probably tons of other people doing the same thing.... but awww Yeah Pee Wee let's be big shots about that.......
Yet I'm sure there were drug deals going on right under their noses.......

^^ I totally agree and can see how you might have thought otherwise with my statement
"No one should be shocked he got into the troubles he got into".

What I meant by that was simply that his "kids show" had deeper adult toned roots and the whole world completely overreacted to his arrest.

Ok Gotcha Yeah they totally did, Kinda ruining a gifted actors life for awhile. I was very happy to see him bounce back despite another setback in 2002 that was cleared up......

                      lol, i didnt know that!

I didnt know about Paul Reubens act until years later. I guess the network executives felt like it was a similiar situation with Pryor: Bring in a talented guy on saturday mornings and see what happens.
