Feliz Navidad -Jose Feliciano is just one that is way over played here in STL.

Grandma got ran over by a reindeer was cute when it first came out and isn't too bad when played once or twice every now and then.

I think the closer that Christmas gets and the more we each hear the same songs that the more we will get sick of them. I know I am to a point. There is still a couple of Christmas songs that I like to hear such as Mariah Carey only in moderation though.
Enjoy what you like, and let others enjoy what they like. (C) Azrak 2009

I have long gone on about "Wonderful Christmas Time". But I have to say I am getting really sick of "So This is Christmas (War is Over)", any version, and "Last Christmas", mostly by WHAM! but also by anyone else. Those 30 year old kids in Glee just released a version. I can guarantee you, anytime you turn on the local all Christmas station, one of those two songs will play within the first 5 minutes. At this point, McCartney is a refreshing change of pace!!!

Any Christmas song that promotes tears of sadness. I DEPLORE the long distance letters being read over sappy piano notes. In my eyes, Christmas should represent hope and moments of joy. Not depression and sorrow. More people commit suicide during the holidays than any other time of the year. These songs only encourage that frame of mind. So, to me, they serve no fundamental value to the season. If I want to hang my head in a corner and listen to Delilah, I'll buy myself a fifth and tune in. Otherwise I want traditional FEEL GOOD songs. Accentuate the positive.

Top of my list is Celebrate Me Home. Still trying to figure out how this is a Christmas song. Also agree with everyone else on Last Christmas. Worse.Lyrics.Ever. I mean "Last Christmas I gave you my heart, the very next day,you gave it away." How the heck do you do that?
