You and your family will be in our prayers. I know your plight with things like this as my own brother is eventually going to kill himself with drugs and alcohol. He has already had a heart attack, a melanoma scare, and a host of other health warning signs that he just insists on ignoring. As soon as he's out of the hospital, he start drinking heavily that night and taking unprescribed prescription drugs he's addicted to. He won't even consider getting help and he treats our parents like dirt. The doctors have point-blank told him that the window of opportunity to stop abusing himself and his body is closing, he's only 51 years-old. It's very, very scary to watch him spiral out of control and be so helpless. I fear I may be going through this same thing very soon as your story sounds so eerily similar to my own. I worry about how my parents will handle it.

Thanks everybody,service isn't till Saturday. I've had a lot of time to think about the whole situation, and even tho a lot of things weren't the best due to her actions, all is forgiven. There is just no point in being angry over it for the rest of my days. I hope she is at peace now and is able to see Mom and make amends where ever it is people go.
