Damn...Rivers is having a brutal year.

Palmer didn't play too bad...he still looks a little off...threw over 300 yards...3 TDs...3 INTs...two of those picks were tipped off the receivers...he's getting there...lol.

Chargers, Chiefs, and Raiders...tied for first in the AFC West...

yea that clown is killing my fantasy team

The Chargers are the best team in that Division imo. None of the other Teams put up that many points, and still loose. Packers are the SB Champs ..., And will be again . Tough loss ...

it is nice to see them on top their division again.

I'm with you completely. I imagine they'll be 9 and 0 after playing the Vikings next week. Just having a great season.

Big win for my G-Men. Consensus is that the Giants have the hardest second half schedule by far, so this was a great way to start it. After last week, I was hoping for 3-2 for their next few games, and would have been comfortable with 2-3. We just seem to find a way to win. If we can get the running game started, we could legitimately contend. Rookie Da'Rel Scott has to be a factor, because the other three bozos can't seem to run for 100 yards between them. If Ramses Barden lives up to his potential, we can even survive the wide receiver losses we keep getting hit with.

Despite the schedule, the game against the Packers is the only one I think we'll have little chance at in the regular season. San Fran is overrated, and New Orleans doesn't scare me. Come the playoffs, no one scares me. We either win or go home, but we always have a chance and if Eli isn't a top 5 quarterback most of the time, he is under pressure. No matter what happens the rest of the season though, I want us to kick the Jets' butts back to Flushing Meadows where they belong.

Packers/Chargers was a great game as was the Giants/Patriots and Steelers/Ravens. I don't know why but I enjoyed watching Brady lose his cool. I also like Eli so nice to see him pull out the win.

I had the Packers defense, Greg Jennings, and Vincent Jackson on my FF team so just in that game alone I got a ton of points. I'm up by 50 points and my opponent only has Brent Celek left to play tonight so I should be good.

Yay! The Phins won! Now my Colts are the only winless team. What a sad season when I'm hoping my team tanks to get the no.1 pick. I hope Peyton has 3-4 more years in him, but you never know about neck injuries, he may never play again( I certainly don't want him to risk serious injury) Either way, keeping Luck or using him for trade fodder (obviously the Colts have more issues than just QB) will help out tremendously.
All I really have to root for now is the underdogs - Lions, Buffalo, somebody different for a change.

Great thread Scott and some very nice observations by the collective!

Romo is, what Romo is, . . . . Inconsistent and IMO not very bright. Top Notch QB's know how to remove their emotions and manage games. Romo has not grasped that concept.

The "I Love Me, some Me" type receivers (D.Jackson, V.Jackson, S. Holmes, etc) are being out played by the likes of Welker, Jordy Nelson, Victor Cruz, etc. I love it!

No Discipline! I go to High School Football games every week and hardly ever see a false start or holding call . . . we can't say that about the NFL now can we . . . ?

                          Officiating . . . . inconsistent at best

                          Parody . . . . you asked for you got it . . . but now it's week to week . . .

Always happy to see New Stinkland (yes, I'm a hater) put up a L.

Don't know what to say about the Raiders- they stunk a little less than the week before?

Great weekend for my Carolina Panthers!! They had their bye week!!! They will pick up and smash the lowly Titans this Sunday !
