Last Night World Series Game 6 was EPIC!!!

I kinda knew...but didn't know who was playing who...that's how much I follow baseball nowadays...

I really wanted the Rangers to pull it out last night. But, if you're one freakin strike away from winning it all...TWICE...and you can't close it out, you don't deserve to win. You can't hang a fastball over the plate with these hitters. You just don't.

They blew it, bottom line. Now they have to face Carpenter in a win or die situation. He's about as classless a jackass as I can recall in recent memory in MLB, but he's dominating. I think Texas is in trouble tonight.

A quick update for the guys not watching--bottom of the 8th with the Cards leading 6-2.

UPDATE: They just won, 6-2. Here in town people are setting off fireworks, and we're 125 miles away from St. Louis.

the family and I went to the celebration parade in St. Louis today to cheer for the Cardinals one last time this year. There were a ton of people. We had a great time.
