Last Night World Series Game 6 was EPIC!!!

Anyone saw this? last night game? HOLY Mother two heavy weight champs knocking the crap out of each other......just when you thought the Cards were D.O.A they came storming back twice after tying the game. Texas has been awesome in the series team has a lot of heart....and were one out one strike away from their first ever WS championship.....before it was snatched away. Frees's game winning blast reminded me so much of Kirby Pucket's blast in the 91 series

Tonight, both fight and go for all the marbles .can't wait this series has done well in the ratings too......

That was a fantastic game! unbelievable at times! Young closers need some work! You can't throw a fast ball right across the plate and think veteran ball players won't do something with it! Just to think, twice in this game they were down to only one strike left to win the world series!

The Texas bats came through last night can't fault them......Hamilton came up big......I think Nelson Cruz didn't get a good jump on the ball off of Frees's Bat and i swear it looked like he was fearing slamming into the wall........

But damn that game was good.....

^^^I agree^^^ we was playing deep and just didn't get to it. I can't remember seeing so many season players making little league type errors. That second time around I thought for sure that "Wash" would pitch around Berkman but nope! grooved right down the middle . . . . I blame this on my sister she and her friends were texting each other making plans to go down to Acadmey Sports and get theiir Championship shirts. You NEVER speak of such things until the deed is done!

I am not as big as a baseball fan as I used to be and I really haven't watched any games this year. However, there wasn't anything on last night so I figured I would just watch game 6 for something to do, and I am glad I did. I am not a fan of either team (Rockies fan here) but I was on the edge of my seat last night. I got goosebumps a few times when the Cardinals rallied. I can't believe they were down to 1 strike twice and pulled it out each time. It has to go down as one of the classic World Series games.

And it's because you can -- and do -- get endings like that that Baseball is the greatest sport there is.

I'm from Missouri, and I thought we were going to break Facebook last night. When the Cards came back, people freaked. Can't wait to see what happens tonight, and my fingers are crossed. No one even expected them to make it to the series.

I'm a Yankees fan but they've been tough for me to watch these past few years.

Both teams have good stories. Cards the Classic national team who made a great comeback this year.......

and Texas the defending AL champs who are looking for there first ever WS championship....

Can't beat that.....plus the games have been really damn good!

Great game and this is from a guy that is not much of a baseball fan. I usually only watch if one of the Chicago teams is in the playoffs which of course doesn't happen too often. (Go Sox!!)

I felt bad for Texas. One strike away from winning it all. Since neither team means anything to me I was cheering for Texas because they have never won one. It's the same reason I cheered for the Seahawks and Cardinals in past Superbowls. I know what it's like as a fan and mainly I like to see fans of teams that have never won it all finally get their dream fulfilled.

Really sorry I haven't had time to watch this series. wow.

I'm an NL fan all the way, and I always root against Texas teams anyway. Go Cards!
