The Raiders officially went from playoff contender to not. Hopefully the equipment manager can find a way to shorten his tampon string so he doesn't trip over it while scrambling out of the pocket.

Maybe he proves me wrong, but he has character issues after quitting on his teammates. I don't have even a little respect for him. His man card as permanently been revoked. He's got a long, long path ahead of him to redemption. I sincerely doubt he has it in him to complete the journey.

Palmer hasn't been the same QB Since the Steelers Broke his Leg in that Play Off game .

Since he seems to hate the Bengals so much ..., it will be interesting to see how good he does for the Silver & Black.

He didn't fit in with the rest of the team is why he wanted to leave,he has not been to jail like them so he was an outcast.

Careful, if Cedric Benson reads this he may come over and punch you in the face.

As a quarterback, leader and a man he could have been brought up on fraud charges.

I never really liked or disliked him during his tenure here. I'm not really a Bengals fan so to speak. He didn't earn my venom till he up and quit, leaving his team who fought for him daily. He's the jackwad who signed a ten year contract and then had regrets. That was totally his mistake. Ownership is a freakin joke but he signed an agreement.

He may have changed during his "retirement" and did some growing up. However, Raider Nation better not expect too much too soon.

I think watching Palmer as a Raider will be interesting. Although I am not a Bengals fan, Palmer's lack of heart cost the Bengals more than one win. I know there is a long history of him being very dissatisfied with the organization, so maybe those ill feelings carried onto the field. He is a good quarterback. Maybe a move to the Raiders is what he needs to reignite his passion for the game. I say, Game On!

I cannot believe they gave up a first rounder for him. Al Davis still lives! What a deal for the Bengals. A 32 year old QB who is in the twilight of his career for a first rounder??? I can't wait to hear Raider Nation when he goes down with an injury. Oh man, that's NOT going to be a pretty sight.

^Could have been worse. They could have went for McNabb like the one rumor floating around.
