Some very sad news from Museum member Toro (Derek Moore)

I have never spoken with Derek, but I know what a difficult time this must be for him. Although I can't contribute financially (University is super-expensive), I'm going to send him a card/letter in the mail. My condolences to him and his boys.

P.S. You guys are being absolutely amazing, and I am really glad to see that people will still band together to help a friend in need. I know that you're all doing this out of the goodness of your hearts, but be sure to recognize that you guys deserve kudos for doing something that a lot of other people wouldn't.

I will be sending him CTVT figures in a couple of weeks. All of my stock is in storage, so after some relatives visit, I will be putting together a very nice package of loose figures. I'll post what I send at that point.

I'm waiting for Trappy's contribution to him, then I'll send our (being mine and Trappy's) care package,(kudos to Trappy!) He's gunna have a great buncha Type one parts and a complete CTVT Fonzie coming! Hopefully, that will help!

I'm looking through my boxes for some stuff he might be able to use. I only have common stuff, but I know I have a caucasian AJ or two. It's not something he asked for, but maybe his kids would enjoy playing with them. If I find any of the Hot Wheels Batmobiles, maybe I'll throw that in too.

Yeah, I have heard from him and his wife few months ago in my Native American Community Website forum (I'm Website Admin White Eagle there). He's a Moderator of my site, he thought he have time to visit with us and he having his health crisis and wife......... I feel very sorry for them. I'll keep him as Moderator, I'm honored him and his wife. I remember what he wanted is the "CHiPs" MOC and loose figures. I'll get 3 mint loose, complete ones for him someday. I'll post this thread in my Native American Community announcment sticky thread, to let my members know what happen to them......

hi guys,i had to re register my account.but i just wanted to thank everyone for there kind words,money sent and figures sent.times have been really tough and you guys help could not have come at a better time.i would have never expected all of this from you guys and i can not say thank you enough.i cant even put into words how muc you guys have helped us.i have started going to a grief counsler last week i am having a hard time dealing with life without my wife it hasnt even been 6 weeks yet and it is very hard on me and my kids.you guys have done more for us than family and friends here in town.my wife didnt have life insurance but my youngest son should draw off of her social security i talk to them on the 10th and hope things go good.my wife would have been so happy to know you guys reached out to me and my boys.she was so scared that when she left that i would be left all alone with nobody to turn to or to help me out when i needed it.i hope to be around alot more now that i am backon the boards and hope to be able to thank everyone individially but it may take some time.i hope to talk to you guys more later and thank you so much
