Were you ever in the World Trade Center ?

With 9-11's tenth anniversary coming up was just wondering how many Museum peeps were inside the WTC.

I was in it about 4 times

    1. with the family shorty after they opened

    2. school class trip in the late 70's

    3. in the mid 80's with friends

    4. about 1-1/2 weeks before 9-11 ... went with friends.

    anybody else ?

I was in it on September 11, 2000. I had a flight scheduled to return to NY for September 10th 2001 for a review the following year but got a meeting with McDonalds and cancelled.

I have never been inside but were one of the first things I saw on the way to an event in NJ and seeing the NYC skyline. Sometimes, I still find it strange to watch a movie set in NYC and see the twin towers.

Yeah, once for a field trip in grade school. I think it was 4th grade.

When I was kid (76)... we went to see the Empire State Building, but it was closed so we went to the twin towers instead.. We were dissapointed at the time. Looking back I am so glad we visited the TT instead.

'83 during a class trip from Philly. Went ot the top and though tit was pretty neat. I had visited NYC innumerable times after that, but it was always to shop for records or see bands. Glad I did make it in once.

When I was a kid.. I honestly don't remember too much about it other than my ears popping on the elevator.

Born in Brooklyn and raised on Long Island and have NEVER been in the Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, or the Towers when they were still standing. I know...pathetic. But I am really afraid of heights. I remember passing buy the Towers and looking up at them when I used to go downtown to World Trade Collectibles. My uncle was a Carpenter that worked on the Towers when they were built.

Up until the day before, I had to drop off work (as part of my job) in all of the World Trade Buildings on a regular basis.

When I was in college, our choir toured NYC in March of 1988, and we spent one day sight-seeing. Went to the Statue of Liberty, Twin Towers, Times Square, Radio City Music Hall, etc.

I was there in the 1980s at some point. I still have a few books of matches from the restaurant on top called, Windows on the World.
