I agree, but that's just me..I found a used .45 longslide for $675...I think I'll save up for that one

Gun talk is normal here in America.

This the country were it's our right to bear arms...it's in the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution...contained in the Bill of Rights.

Guns are just like apple pie here in America...kids of all ages practices target shooting.

Here's a kid shooting under adult supervision (the Glock pistol has a shoulder stock for easier handling)...

      http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tj6NY...eature=related

The kid was aided by an adult (probably his own dad, plus he had ear plugs and safety goggles)...that's how you educate a kid to respect guns...

...and if some get disturbed by gun talk...I wanna hear you say the same thing about Star Trek phasers, Star Wars blasters...and toy guns in general...

...sorry...you can't have it both ways.

I can't fault your logic Hec. You have to hold one in your hands to be sold on it. They are handmade and you can see and feel the craftsmanship. Every place where a point would be is finely smoothed off and the matte finish is very cool. The snakeskin checking is an awesome idea. You can't imagine how such a small detail makes a huge difference. Your hand will slide easily on it one way but it grips when fired to keep the recoil to a bare minimum. I splurged a few years ago when I received a particularly good end of year bonus. If I was buying today, I would never do it. I'd go the cheaper route. But I am glad I had the funds when I did cause it's a beauty. Like I said, I can't fault your logic, though.

You can convert it to full auto.

Full autos are illegal here in California...only criminals have them...

To me...a full auto pistol...is like cheating...plus you have less control...and before you know it...you are outta bullets...lol.

I like controlled shooting...like a semi...you can pick your spots more effectively...at least for me.

Plus target shooting is so much more fun with a semi...look at this guy with a full auto Glock 19...his bullets are gone just like that...bullets are way too expensive...I want to make it last a while shooting...not be over with in a second...

If I had money to burn...sure...I'd get the Kobra Carry...it's a work of art no doubt...but as in my real life financial situation...it just wouldn't make sense to me...I'd be just as elated getting a Glock 21 instead...and save myself a whopping $1800...look at all the Megos I could get with that money...lol.

But yes...the Kobra Carry is real beauty of a gun...if I had one...I'd probably never shoot it though...it's just too damn pretty...

                              ...and here's my safety contribution...

I cannot stress enough how important is to get a gun lock for your weapons...especially if you have children....

Also...have a secret place for your guns...if you have a safety box...even better...
