Yeah----this thread does sort of give you an 80's nostalgia feel. I wonder where I put that "Members Only" jacket......

sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

I wonder if any of us could actually fit into those straight leg jeans these days?

I think the biggest problem I had with it,is what kid would actually show up? I was about 13 or 14 when this came out and besides thinking what dorks they were, why don't they just wait until Monday to serve detention?

I can't remember - do they not explain it?

My biggest problem is the dumb speech at the end. Sorry kids, I don't think you challenged the labels society placed on you just because the two bullies decided to stop being ******s for a couple of hours one day. I don't think a rich girl falling for a guy from the wrong side of the tracks is crazy - that's actually the biggest most boring cliché in the world.

My favorite was Ferris Bueller's Day Off! I loved that movie especially since so much of it was filmed in Chicago. There is just something special about seeing places you've been to and know well on a TV show or a movie. That was one of the draws to the The Chicago Code which, unfortunately, got cancelled.
