My 19 year old daughter ask me the other day what I did back in the day if I happen to miss an episode of a favorite TV show. I told her I had to wait 'til it was shown in Summer rerun to see it. She just laughed.

I was telling the 10 year old I was babysitting last night about how mad I used to get as a kid if I missed one of my favorite cartoons. She said "You know what I do when I don't wanna miss one of my shows? I record it." I told her there were no such things as DVDs, VCRs, TIVO, etc. And we only had 7 channels. She looked genuinely shocked!
