    thursday 10 inches saturday to sunday 6 more inches now its in the low 20s after raining all afternnon so we are going to have ice and more ice. yeah i love winter.

      Methinks Brain is probably exaggerating I saw weekend snowfall totals for Toronto reported tonite in the 30-35cm range (about 14"), while other areas of southern Ontario received as much as 50cm (about 20").

      Still a helluva lot o' snow, but a bit less than three feet.

          Seriously, I'm well above these estimates. My neighbour's upstairs windows are complete snowed in and I can no longer see my holiday lawn decor. I'll gladly prove it to you if you'd like.

            So that's what I was going by.. but if you say three feet, I'll buy it. It's not uncommon in my area for a town to get stuck under a heavy lake-effect band and get creamed while others nearby towns get less.

              I am right off lake Ontario, so I am sure it played a factor. Normally we seem to get off lightly and those to the East of us suffer.
