    Get any snow this weekend?

My town got just over 3 feet today, it took me a couple of hours to leave the house and when I finally got the five blocks to the comic store, they never even opened today.

My driveway looks like Krypton from the Superman movies. Anyone else get hit?

It snowed 3 feet and you actually went to your comic store?

    I give you props Brian

We got a little, maybe enough to cover the grass outside. The 40 mph wind gusts and cold temps (19 degree wind chill) were bad though. I'm sure others near here were much worse off.

We already had a few inches on the ground left over from earlier storms, and got 7" more on THU. Then last nite and today, another 15". Another 3 or 4" is on tap for tonite.

We picked up a new Toro snowthrower last Spring on clearance. It's already paid for itself..

We got freezing rain, a little sleet/snow, and high winds. It looks like the entire county got hit, except the town where I live. When I left my house, the sun was shining, the streets were a little wet from the rain, and it was cold and a bit windy. As I got out on the highway, the sky got darker, and all of a sudden I started seeing trees covered in ice along the road. It turns out that several areas lost their electricity, because of trees falling and ice on the power lines.

I'm impressed that you would drive through 3 feet of snow to get to the comic store, Brian. That's dedication to the art form.

                  It snowed here..............in 1988!!!

That was the last significant snow we had. We have has a few flurries on rare occasions, but nothing on the ground.

We did have flurries on Christmas Eve night about three years ago.

I remember the snow in 88, I was in mechanical drafting class at LSU. My teacher freaked, he was from Saudi (or some where) and had never seen it before.

Its been cold here, in the low 40's at night, and I can see snow on the mountain tops above the 7000 foot level or so. We're at about 2000 feet, so no snow for us.

We did get Hail about a week ago, and some of our streets and golf courses looked like we got snow, so all the local news choppers were hovering around like it was a slow moving police chase.

We got 7-9 inches. Pretty bad, but not 3 feet.

Ok, I admit it, I also needed beer but the stores are very close.

That's what I love about Canadians. In America, the chance of snow causes Milk and Bread runs as if a nuclear holocaust were about to hit. In Canada, 3 feet of snow slightly delays your Sunday afternoon beer run.
