Looked like the vast majority of the guy's collection was Playmates stuff, so I don't really get the "he got hosed" comments. Most of that stuff is virtually worthless on eBay.. some of the 9" stuff might grab a few bucks here and there, but that's it. Even the signed stuff isn't that much of a bump..
I would do a happy dance to the bank with $6K for that stuff..Comment

How did you add that clip?
So now can we add this to the museum intro page?
Think B.A. Where did you hide the Megos?Comment

Any time you sell any kind of collectable to a store be it action figures ,comic books, sports cards, records or what ever you never get book price, remember they are a business and not collectors
if you want full value then you need to sell em yourself
It sounded like he needed quick cash and had to settle for a lot less then actual value
Times are tuff and very few people have 14k to shell out for a STAR TREK collectionComment

I would also be interested in knowing how you grabbed that clip. I did watch it last night on DVR and would love to know how to make a copy from a DVR to a DVD, etc. If someone hadn't grabbed it; I was going to go low tech and just video tape it from my tv and upload it from there for all of you to see since it was so cool. No mention that it was an internet site or anything....just "There's even a Mego Museum" very cool."The farther we go, the more the ultimate explanation recedes from us, and all we have left is faith."
