It was Mike's niece that recently contacted me on Mike's behalf. She wrote me in a PM here that she spoke with Mike for a brief and he wanted her to get back with me ASAP.

For me as mentioned earlier it is not about the merchandise at all.

If I knew that Mike really wants to keep his DVD's he can as far as I am concerned.

I will still send the money that I was going to send just because I am doing it for Mike and not his merchandise.

To be completely honest...I don't think Mikey wanted to really sell his beloved Star Trek DVD collection...he advertised it out of pure necessity...I think with his donations...he would no longer need to sell his Trek DVDs.

Finally, It is time for me to step up and do my part aside from the humor that I have provided here or lack of.

That alone is price less. No I really mean that. It is indeed priceless. No one in their right mind would ever buy a ticket to my show.

As many of you may already know by now it is no big secret that I quit PayPal some time ago. Having said that I regret to announce that I will not be making a contribution thru PayPal at this time. However! I WILL still be doing my part to contribute.

I am in contact with Mikey's niece and I WILL be purchasing Mike's Star Trek DVD's that he was trying to sell here.

That and I am even giving/sending him more $$$ via snail mail with my payment. This will be more than what Mike was initially asking because I want to help do my part and contribute to help Mike out. At this point it is not even about the merchandise it is ALL about Mike and his family.

Even though I do not know Mike on a personal level he has brought much joy to me here at The Mego Museum and I hope that he continues to recover so that I/we get to see his smiling Icons back here again real soon.
