How do you sleep?

always with the TV on, love to have that back round noise,besides the cat loves to watch Animal Planet in the middle of the night.

Me and the wife are total opposites, she requires total quiet and darkness where I like the TV on or nature sounds that I have on my ipod. Only thing is the ear buds are not very comfortable to sleep with, I am trying to find some someting that will work for both of us......

I also noticed the older I get the less sleep I get, in my teens I could sleep until noon but for the last 5 years I have been only good for about 5 to 6 hours a night.

VERY dark, cool and quiet.

I like my bedroom like a cave at night. I put a cardboard in front of my alarm clock because it gives off too much light.

My lovely spouse's preference is that I go to bed at the same time as her. For the past ten years we generally fall asleep me s****ing her. Less than two years ago we added a puppy that sleeps at the foot of the bed. While asleep, from what we' ve been able to discern, she tends to remain in fetal position, hogging more and more of the covers while I sleep fairly deeply while performing a contortion act throughout the night given the odd positions I wake up in.

I haven't slept as well this week with the wife away in Taipei, and the ridiculous heat.

One of my cats likes to watch the security camera screen. It is a huge flat panel mounted on the wall. He stares at it for long periods of a time. At least when I go to bed I know he has my back. Actually I think he watches the wild animals Deer, squirrels, Fox and other cats etc. that pass thru from time to time. Everything is totally safe and secure with him on guard. Yeah right! He would be the first one to run and hide if something went down.

Man! I would have to be completely and totally wiped out to even think about sleeping like that.

The worst I have ever been was when I was younger and I drank was at a friends party and I went and fell asleep in the back of my Iroc as opposed to drinking and driving. The was the first time and the last time that I had ever slept like that. Not a whole lot of room back there in those tiny back seats.

Windows open, cool ocean breeze blowing off the bluffs, shutters wide open so the first light of day wakes me up for a workout or a surf. Then a protein shake goes down the gullet and it's off to the studio.

Lately, it's been hard to get comfortable b/c of my back, but I like to sleep w/ the TV on, and my bedroom door and windows closed. My room is pretty dark. It's painted purplish blue and I have dark blue thermal curtains. I sleep on my left side or my stomach.

Usually flat on my back. Preferably in a bed, but sometimes in my chair. Slept on a couple trains once or twice. The constant "cliketty-clak" of the train made for an oddly soothing sleeping experience....

Like the guy sleeping on the tire, I once fell asleep under a '72 Mustang with a 3 speed manual transmission sitting on my chest.
