    How do you sleep?

Other than with your eyes closed I presume.

My idea sleeping situation right now for this time of year is with the AC down low, a fan on with no light shining what so ever. Not even the least little bit of light. There is no alarm clock in my bedroom (or anywhere for that matter) and my windows are blacked out with limo tint.

My Sugar Baby starts out laying her head on my chest as we snuggle and kiss each other good night. Then after about 15 minutes (give or take) or so we part ways and get into our own comfort zone for the night. I cannot sleep with anything or anyone on me.

I usually get up in the wee hours of the night and grab a snack and some times check out The Museum to see what is kicking.

As with The Museum rules keep it clean folks. I am just trying to change things/topic up here a bit in the wee hours of the night at The Museum. I think some of us can use a different topic to engage in right about now.

I have Ledys tucked under the pillows, crowbars in the closets, and flashlights on the nightstands. :-)

      I can just imagine that.

I'm sure I played some Ledy Superman versus Ledy Mxyzpltk under a flashlight spotlight on the nightstand at some point. . . .but can't recall if that was a dream. . . maybe I knocked my noggin with a crowbar?!

I'm a second shift worker, so I sleep during the day. My bedtime is usually between 6 and 7 a.m. I have aluminum foil on my bedroom windows. It looks horrible, and I'm sure the neighbors love it, but I can't sleep with any light and it does the trick. I like the idea of the limo tint; I'm going to look into that. I can't stand outside noise or heat either. The a/c in my bedroom is set at 67 degrees, and I have a box fan for more circulation. I also have two white noise makers on either side of my bed.

I have to sleep with a box fan for white noise.

              Without a fan I can't sleep

It does work really well. The best part is you can see out and no one can see in.

In my case I have a lot of acreage and no neighbors live real close by. So as far as anyone seeing in it is a minute issue for me.

This will be pefect in a scenario as you described with neighbors close by.

I use to have to have things dead quiet when I slept. NO noise what so ever. Now I also enjoy the hum of the fan for some reason as it helps put me to sleep. It is all my gf's fault. She wanted a fan and now I see why. It is great. I do not know how I slept without it all of those years.

I need it to be very cool, if not downright cold to sleep comfortably. But once I am out, I am out until morning. I once even slept through a nearby house exploding from a gas leak. I also must clarify that "morning" tends to be 5:00 a.m. or so. Today is an exception because hubby left on his vacation a short while ago.

with earplugs and TOTAL darkness. It has to be silent and dark for me to sleep. I'm a very light sleeper.

I can't sleep in silence. In fact, total silence is like having a marching band in my bedroom. The sound of my mind going a million miles an hour will keep me up for hours. I need white noise AND I watch TV. I am usually out cold in 10 minutes just from watching some dumb tv show.....once I get asleep, I sleep deeply.....

I usually hit the sheets between 9-10pm, ac and fan blasting, monster movie on the dvd player with the timer set for 30-60 min. Wake up a 5am, working out from 6 to 7am, then off to work.

same here, I need it as dark as possible.. AC on at least 73, I need my space, can't stand when the wife puts her head on my chest , I have a really warm body so if she's touching me I start to sweat

and I'm a very light sleeper so any little noise and I'm up, I get a lot of nightmares, so i usually get up a couple of times to get water in the middle of the night
