eBay update not good news :( HELP ME

Here is what I would do...again just some friendly advice since you asked for it. Take the emotion out of it. It is 400 GBP which is a large sum of money but I would send her one polite message and no more communication. Something to this effect "Please send the item I paid for by this Thursday July 14th and provide me with a tracking number. Otherwise, I will assume that you have no intent on sending me the item and find no reasonable alternative than requesting a refund through Ebay. Thank You." Leave it at that. I really don't think there is anymore else that can or needs to be said. If the deadline passes without a response follow through and open a case with Ebay. Just provide the facts without any emotions and do not exchange emails with the seller, it really isn't worth the emotional energy. I have had a few sellers jerk me around a bit and have found this to work every time. I can't guarantee you will get your item but you will get resolution on this without anymore game playing.

Sounds like a great idea to me she is not worth it I really dont know what to say or do iv been on ebay years and never had a problem but the no emotion thing is good i will say :

You will if you follow through with the filing and paid via paypal. I bought something a while back in the same price range and the item didn't arrive. I asked for the tracking number and the person tried to brush me aside. I filed a claim, it took a while but did have my money returned. I know these things get emotionally charged at times as evidenced by my recent rant about a local auctioneer but just remain calm and don't let the seller lure you into another verbal battle or delay tactic. It sounds like you have been reasonable enough with the time lapsed in waiting and am guessing she is trying to give you some payback for waiting on payment. Some people are strange that way and the best advice is try to remain calm and protect yourself.

I did ask for tracking number to put my mind at rest but I only got that message so the problem starts tomorrow me watching and waiting now i need to be home because sorting office is 4 miles away should i trust her? and wait in .......iv never had anything like it before some can be so kind then you get odd balls its the hot and cold carry on I cant take ....anyway your messages have calmed me down and made sense cheers much

Okay, I am not too clear on the drama here. Payment was made just on the cusp of the weekend. The weekend passes. Most folks don’t ship on the weekend. And now Tuesday confirmation of shipment. What exactly went wrong here? It really all sounds like the standard flow of a standard eBay sale if you eliminate the prior baggage of the pre-transaction negotiation.

Also, this was all done on eBay via eBay’s system with payment handled via PayPal, correct? So if the item doesn’t arrive in 5 days, what is to stop one from filing a non-receipt of goods claim?

I fully understand transaction jitters and have dealt with bad sellers, but this sounds like a normal sale to me if you remove the pre-transation stuff.

I can understand you frustration especially with the amount of money involved, they should have given you a tracking number unless they have only sent it 1st class, although mind with that amount I would have sent next day delivery before 9am.

Its all very confusing even to me so to you lot it must be like omg .... anyway the seller has contacted me again ( two times ) today and the last message I was given a tracking number god save us hallelujah Joan of ark has come through the flames .....anyway the last message was more nice I hope you enjoy the items and yip iv been tacking it and its saying for delivery tomorrow my heads numb with it all anyway thanks to the ones who helped me and calmed me down , this order is no where near as much as iv spent before but still 400 is not 10p and i only wanted the information on my item surely anyone selling or buying would understand this i love eBay but it can be very problematic and a head F&$£ ......anyway rant over hopefully it will feel like Christmas 1978 tomorrow if i am not on you know i am being dragged away to the funny farm

I don't like all this "calm" stuff. Everyone knows that rage is what makes the world go 'round. You tell that mop squeezer that you want your item TODAY, not tomorrow, otherwise she's gonna' be picking up her teeth with broken fingers. If I paid someone 400 squids and had to wait 3 days for my item I'd kill 'em, bring 'em back to life and kill 'em again.
