I would keep it on good terms for the moment. He might have been tied up over the weekend and unable to respond. If he posts it today he's done his part. I would give him the chance to follow through first. And remember, your purchase is protected by Paypal, so your investment is safe.

So two days down the line meaning the weekend? I think it’s fair to say that one should not panic yet and you might be bringing previous baggage of the initial deal to this closing of the deal. If you do not hear from them by the end of the week, then seek ways to get your money back.

Get his contact info and give him a phone call

make sure you wait till around 7:00-9:00PM (his time)

          dont call too early

If he's in the USA make sure you talk kind of slowly

Sometimes us American's have a tad of trouble with real Scottish accents

Sound advice on waiting it out a bit and see what happens since you are still protected.

Not trying to take the seller's side here but it's possible that the seller might be a little annoyed at having to wait to get paid in the first place, then being offered additional money for the troubles, then wanting to rescind, etc. As frustrated as you are; it sounds like the seller is as well. I would give it a few days, send a polite email asking for a tracking number so you can make arrangements to be home when the parcel arrives...good luck.

not trying to sound like jerk here(just what it looks like to me), but sounds to me like you were all disappointed with this whole deal from the minute you sent the payment...and now you're over reacting a bit and looking for any excuse to just get your money back.....

If you really truly still want the item and are happy with the price you payed, I'd say just be a little more patient..If you don't then just tell him you want your money back and see what he says..

I always got everything sent to my work address, makes things easier, I cant remember, doesnt the postman leave U a note, that theres a parcel for U to collect. Beats waiting at home for a knock at the door.

ok, so you bid on something and won it right? Then you asked for time to pay for the item? Sounds like you need to be more patient after the seller was pateint with you and your inability to pay on time. Maybe in the future don't bid unless you can pay?

I can understand your frustration Karen. Especially with that amount of money involved. I ship everything I sell on ebay out either the same day, or the day after payment. I do not get the same service when purchasing from ebay. And it's even more frustrating when they don't communicate. I've lost count of how many "There was a death in the family" excuses I have received.

Here is what I would do...again just some friendly advice since you asked for it. Take the emotion out of it. It is 400 GBP which is a large sum of money but I would send her one polite message and no more communication. Something to this effect "Please send the item I paid for by this Thursday July 14th and provide me with a tracking number. Otherwise, I will assume that you have no intent on sending me the item and find no reasonable alternative than requesting a refund through Ebay. Thank You." Leave it at that. I really don't think there is anymore else that can or needs to be said. If the deadline passes without a response follow through and open a case with Ebay. Just provide the facts without any emotions and do not exchange emails with the seller, it really isn't worth the emotional energy. I have had a few sellers jerk me around a bit and have found this to work every time. I can't guarantee you will get your item but you will get resolution on this without anymore game playing.
