Yep, and in 90+ degrees and humidity. So, buck up and get back out there.

        Hey John,
Come on down to Dallas, only 105 today with 10 straight days over 100 and no relief in sight

Yes I work outside. Im a journeyman electrician so most of the work is in steel buildings. Was on the roof most of last week and part of this week. 105 feels like 115 in the direct sunlight all day.

Hubby and I grow blueberries. So pruning, tilling, spraying, and harvesting are part of our summer routine. Spraying and harvesting cannot be done in the rain, but everything else goes on despite the weather.

I've worked outside nearly my whole working life. 4 years active duty USMC, 7 years as a meter reader for the local electric company, 15 years connecting/disconnecting electrical service. Last 21 years in the south Texas heat & humidity.

But I have had 4 or 5 years inside selling auto parts split up here & there.

I do AC work, so outside and inside. The inside is generally worse than the out.

Funny you posted this, Thursday I was working in the shop, no a/c, on a motor. I didn't drink anything but a couple cokes and then some beer toward the end of the day. Got real dizzy and threw up. Felt like I was having a heat attack. Drank a much water as I could hold down and hit the office with the a/c on. First time I think I ever had heat exhaustion. Still don't feel right.

Soda is the worst, unsweetened iced tea for flavored water.
Running ductwork after removing the old metal stuff and I was working the job alone for two days. I drank four of those 32 ounce Gatorades the second day and didn't pee until my third beer at the bar that night.
When your sweat makes you shiver it's time to stop.
