agreed. I think they even edited the scene in Back to the Future...where Marty writes Doc Brown the letter, telling him he is killed by terrorists...they altered the letter digitally to remove the comment or something.

Now, back on track -
I would be interested in the bluray as long as the extras are plenty.
I'd want to see more behind-the-scenes of the shark..never before seen home movies, that sorta stuff.

Agreed. I've always thought the principals did a great job in this movie. To me it was always (well, not always but since I've gotten older) more about their relationship than the shark, especially once their on the boat.

As for extras, unfortunately Jaws is over 35 years old. And I think nobody really believed in the movie during shooting (plenty of books on that). So I think few people will have bothered with extensive behind the scenes material. And two of the principal actors are gone.
To be honest, I thought the DVD extras were already pretty decent. So I'm happy with my DVD. I think Jaws is one of my "perfect" movies. To tamper with anything will put me off the Blu-Ray for sure...
