International Friendly but we were schooled.
I think the best that US soccer fans can even come away from it is that there is no shame in losing to the best in the world and USA essentially had their "B" team going up against Spain's "A" team. No Donovan, Dempsey, Bradley, etc. Dempsey and Bradley entered the game in the 2nd half and the U.S. was able to somewhat compete but it was otherwise ugly. Spain put on a clinic and exposed USA's biggest problems. They do not have a great defense, they have no go to striker to date, and zero depth.
Spain on the other hand had no problem moving the ball. Thank goodness we have Tim Howard. It could have easily have been a 7 or 8-0 embarassment.
