    X-Men First Class

Has anyone else seen the movie? I saw it last night and thought it was terrific. Can't wait until the next one.

Thought it was awesome and a great way to restart the franchise without a reboot.

This actually got a good write up in the UK press from a critic who normally hates this sort of film.

The previews look like it should be a good one, like how they went backwards this time.

Guess I'm alone on an island. It did nothing for me.
It's not a doll it's an action figure.

I think it ranks right up there as one of the best Comic Book Films to date.

Saw it last night, thought it was good. I missed some of the core characters, funny cameo by one though. Worth seeing.

                              Just seen it.

                              Conclusion?

It's already my favorite X-Men movie ever.

It has the best special-effects, the best acting, has the most intriguing storyline, it's the most ambitious...it's so good in fact...that despite all the superhero stuff...it doesn't even feel like a comic book flick...it's more like a political thriller with lots of espionage involved...this film had it all...I'm quite shocked that it was this great.

Using the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis as the main political focus of the storyline was simply pure genius.

As much as I loved Thor for example...that one almost looked like just eye-candy compared to X-Men First Class...which I truly believe is Oscar worthy...yes...that good.

It already ranks up there in my list of top all time comic book superhero films of all times...side by side with Dark Knight and Superman.

I know...knowing my tastes...that both the Green Lantern and Captain America are not going to come close to being as good as X-Men First Class...I can already smell those opinions coming.

For one thing...both Ryan Reynolds and Chris Evans...are not worthy of washing James McAvoy's and Michael Fassbender's combined jockstraps...they are not in the same universal acting league...not even close.

And speaking of James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender...these guys CAN act...the characters of both Professor X and Magneto were fantastic...even more so Michael Fassbender's Magneto...he really stole the show...I think he should be nominated for an Oscar...I became a fan ever since I first saw him in Inglorious Basterds...this guy could play James Bond.

A little shout out to Kevin Bacon...he was great as Sebastian Shaw as well.
