Did New England beat the Ravens last night? Did the refs help them and is there an NFL conspiracy to see the Pats go undeated to sale more tickets to their last game vs the Giants on the NFL network? A whole lot of people sure think so. What do you think?

I really can't respond because I only watched the game until halftime when it was tied 10-10.
I do know there are a lot of Ravens fans here at work (I live equal distance from Washington D.C. and Baltimore but grew up closer to D.C. so there are die hard fans from both camps).
I heard more than a few people griping about the game last night and said that Baltimore should have won that game if everything were fair and square. Of course, their opinions were biased and I didn't get a chance to read any articles other than knowing the final score."The farther we go, the more the ultimate explanation recedes from us, and all we have left is faith."

I can walk to a Pats home game, a long walk but possible. I am a pats fan, but I must say they won because the Ravens shot them self in the foot at the end. The guy who called for a time out on the forth down that could have won the game needs to be smacked. One penalty after another at the worst times. Then at the end the one idiot who killed them with 30 yards after the kick, even if it was only 15 yards the catch at the end would have been in the end zone for 6.
I think next week the Steelers will play a good game.Comment

The Ravens definitely snatched defeat from the jaws of victory last nite. I didn't see any imaginary calls towards the end, just a team that was unable to get it done in the final quarter both offensively and defensively.
Check that - they WOULDA got it done, if that Ravens asst. coach didn't call time-out when the Ravens stopped them late on 4th down.
Has the NFL sent down an edict that the NFL can only be referred to on air as the NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE? Becuz no announcer or commentator ever says "He's the best QB in the NFL", it's always (dramatically) "He's the best defender in the NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE." Phil Jaworski is the worst on MNF, he does it like 10 times a game. I've never heard him call it the NFL.
Listen sometime to one of the ESPN football shows, or any NFL broadcast. It drives me crazy.
And yet, nobody ever says that Lebron James is the best player in the NATIONAL BASKETBALL ASSOCIATIONComment
-
Yeah, that Phil Jaworski annoys the crap out of me. Actually, this is the most bland MNF crew I can remember. It's been one extreme to the other lately, which makes me long for the days of Michaels, Dierdorf, and Crusty.
I think the young announcers(Keyshawn, Emmit) say "NFL" and the old guys(Costas Collinsworth) say "National Football League."
The Ravens did the same thing against the Browns. They suck so bad that they find a way to lose even when the mostly play a great game. They need to rebuild.Comment

I grow tired of seeing the Cheatriots on Primetime. Whats it been ? 3weeks in a row ? "sigh" man, there are other teams out there. Enough of this crap. They should throw them on the NFL network, instead of the Cowboys/Packers game. Because I don't have it, & live in Seattle & have scene them on TV all 11wins. I just don't care, I hope they get beat next week. Come on Big Ben, give it to them .... The Original Knight ..., Often Imitated, However Never Duplicated. The 1st Knight in Customs.

well if the coaching staff wants to keep their jobs in Miami all they have to do is pull the greatest upset and beat them

Not lookin' good. If they get past the Steelers next week, they are going undefeated. Nobody else has a shot at them unless something just crazy happens. I'm so freakin sick of this team, every time I turn on ESPN they are on, with some commentator talking about "greatest team ever" or something. Give me a break.Comment

I'm hoping the Giants face them when they are undefeated for the last game of the season. Chances are it will have some sort of playoff implications for us. We might get creamed, but it would be sweet to see the Pats lose their quest for the perfect season in the last quarter or even seconds of the game. And as I said a few weeks ago, Eli could extract a little brotherly revenge. Goodness knows he needs to boost, especially going into the playoffs.
One can dream.

I'd love to see the Pats Giants game but it won't happen. I don't get the NFL network and even if I could I wouldn't. It's bull to have to pay to see it.Comment
-
Because the Pats are the home team the pats giants will be on CBS here as well as the NFL.
And as long as they have Brady the are one of the best teams ever the record shows that. If Brady go's down they will go form first to worst. I think the Colts are in the same boat anything happens to Manning there in trouble.Comment

Hopefully Brady will get broke then..., IMO he is not great, just lucky. When I think of "Great" I think of Montana, or Elway, . I hope the G-men Beat them too.... The Original Knight ..., Often Imitated, However Never Duplicated. The 1st Knight in Customs.
