I would agree. I believe sugar to be a very BIG contributor. Having said that I will not even go into the Coca Cola or soda lecture.

Next time, he'll be brushing his teeth with a blender, anything to escape the dreaded dental drill.

If it's any consolation: my appointment is next Friday. Sooo looking forward to that...

I'm having 2 wisdom teeth pulled next Tuesday, should be no more than $200. Most of that I get back

I had to have mine taken out when I was seventeen.

The bottom wisdom teeth were coming in at a slant, and the top ones had nothing to grind against and were extended down too far.

The surgeon looked at the X-ray, looked at my mother in shock and said, "Mrs. Miller, I can never make any money off of your daughter's mouth. Her teeth are perfect! Not one cavity and she's seventeen years old!"

(I was a big time milk fanatic, brushed and flossed like crazy, and thank God for the flouride in the water here in NY.)

Where I grew up everybody only had well water.

I do rememeber big debates in the 70's in Allentown PA about adding flouride to the town water.

Not sure which side won in the end

                    YIKES! That had to hurt!

Maybe your dentist can cap it or something.
