American Idol Finale

Congratulations Scotty! My favorite this year, even though I am not a country fan.

The finale stated off awesome with Judas Priest, but went downhill quick with Jack Black and that other dude butchering an awesome Queen tune. Didn't care for most of the finale but I was glad Scotty won

Yeah, American pretty much voted off all the talent this year early on. I boycotted the finale.

The season started with promise, but flamed out after auditions were over. Mediocre talent (not including James Durbin, who was frequently a big ol' hoot) constantly being told by all three judges how great they are? Simon's bitter pill was dearly missed..

I've been boycotting since maybe a week or two after the Hollywood auditions were over...I feel so liberated!

I knew from the beginning that McCreary was going to win....they hyped him up so much during the auditions and every week after that he really couldn't lose...

Better really lock them door and turn the lights down low....this kid is gonna be all over the place for the next few months until he's forgotten like all of his other recent peers...
Who won last year? Oh that's right Lee Dewyze...And what has he done? Absolutely nothing....

Crystal Bowersox has been doing pretty well with her album. She was my fave last year.

Congrats to this guy, but seriously. I'm an old school country fan, and I find him kind of insulting. Contemporary country radio would never play him anyway.

I also predicted from the very beginning that Scotty would win.

But I'm no country fan...so sorry Scotty...I won't be spending my money on you...lol.

Come to think of it...I haven't bought anything from ANY of the past Idols either...so no hard feelings...Scotty...you are not alone...

Hate on Simon Cowell all you want...but he was American Idol...without him...the show now sucks.

Randy is ok...J-Lo is half not bad (although she says "you know what I mean" too many times, lol)...but for the love of God Almighty...please get rid of Steven Tyler...I swear...the most USELESS judge EVER...he brings NOTHING to the table except the occasional one-liner zingers...and the same 'ol praise time-after-time..."that was beautiful, just beautiful".....that's ALL he says...ALL THE FRIGGIN' TIME...

James with Judas Priest impressed me. Halford at 60 or so still has his classic voice.

Too bad Aerosmith would not perform. Tyler on his own, better then nothing I guess.

Yeah, it was pretty awful. But you know what? Jack Black had a better voice than that Idol bearded dude. Lol. That tells you how bad most of the contestants were this season. Pretty bad. Lol.

Having said that, the Idol rocker sounded pretty good with Judas Priest, his voice is suited for metal and hard rock.

James was my favorite contestant, now I see why.
