Sad, sad news. Back in the 80s he wrestled here in Johnson City, TN and I even met him at couple of times when he used to workout at a place called Judy's Gym. I didn't know him personally but he always seemed like a nice, friendly and funny guy. RIP Macho Man.

He was one of the reasons I liked the Spider Man movie so much.

He used to wrestle around here, before hitting it big.

He was always one of my personal favorites. Definitely one of the best entertainers in wrestling. A tragic end for him. Just sucks.

His matches against Warrior were some of the best ever, I remember him being the first LJN wrestling figure I ever bought pink trunks with white stars, who else could pull off something like that with a name like Macho man "OOOOHHH YEEEAAAAHHHHH!!"

                  Ditto.

Never have been much of a wrestling fan, but this is a bummer. RIP.

What a bummer. One of my all-time favorites. One of the all-time greats, a huge loss.

Very sad. Macho Man was king, no pun intended. His epic feuds with DDP, Flair, Steamboat, Warrior and of course his on again off again friendship/rivalry with Hogan was the stuff of legend.

                      RIP.

I've read the production team has already been ordered to put togther a video package for the TV shows next week, so no doubt.

I'm sorry he died...and he was quite a character.

But, there's a reason why al these pro wrestlers tend to die so young.

Fatal car crash due to heart attack, right?
