Hard to believe. Maybe not a role model as a man but a true icon of the 70s and hero to a lot of young kids at the time. RIP.

My son and I just had my PM Evel reissue out Sunday.

Like so many figures, upon closer inspection, he may not have been the "hero" he was advertised as.

But he was one whale of an entertainer.

And he provided hours of fun for a whole generation of kids and adults.

Not a bad life, I'd say.

just read about this, sorry to see him go. i remember many groundings as a kid after jumping my bike over anything i could find.i'll miss hearing about him.
