Is Steak Ums countrywide ?

I remember eating steakum sandwhiches fiofr lunch in high school.....good stuiff with american cheese on a roll....we picked up a case one tim at BJ's and although we did eat them, they are not very good for you

I haven't had a Steak-Umm since the mid 80s. I lived on those things when my dad kicked me out.

We have them here in AZ, wish we didn't. I bought a few boxes last year thinking that I liked them. I ended up throwing them in the trash.

I have always heard White Castle was mostly on the East Coast. There are exceptions.

We have 'em in Houston, but the only local place I can ever get them is Michoacana down the way from me. I don't buy them very often, but I love the sliced steak in a pita with provolone, cucumber and red onion.

walmart even has a generic version of them.There is a meat market by us that slices ribeye for the same type of sandwich.

Are you talking about the ones that are shapped like oval medalions ?

I like them ... They have a less watery taste than real steak-ums

I have tried them and they are relly good but they have have the steakum look alikes, flat and thin, maybe 8 or 10 in a box.
