I AM disappointed and saddened by this. I'm glad no one was hurt. Hopefully this was an isolated incident and he won't be repeating this. I'm not excusing this b/c he's famous, (I would never do that, I was almost hit by a drunk driver twice), but he made a mistake, and sadly there are lots of people who get behind the wheel of a car drunk, they just don't get publicized b/c they aren't celebrities."Do you believe, you believe in magic?

And sadly it is the "lots of people" that is the tragedy here. It is horrible that it happens so much even with information campaigns, etc. I guess that is why folks tend to get a bit more upset with celebrities who do such things. We (as the public) hope they are not fallible and would know better.and sadly there are lots of people who get behind the wheel of a car drunk, they just don't get publicized b/c they aren't celebrities.
I also don't think that MattelMike meant any hurt with his tease, I think he was just trying to be humorous. Though teasing can be hurtful even when playful. (That's what I tell my 8 year old anyway)

Yeah My cousin was killed by a drunk driver, a kid celebrating his high school graduation, he died too.
i was almost killed by one myself, standing by my dads broken down pick-up , the driver swerved and just missed me and then swerved back and wreck the pick-up i drove up in to rescue my dad. he then crashed into a small rock wall and dumped all his beer cans over the wall to hide them. i really don't understand how people can be so irrespondsible!"Hang on Lady...
