    Subway

Have all the Subway sandwich places made the change where they don't position and add the may or mustard prior to the veggies? Used to be you get bread, meat, and then cheese and after that they'll add the mustard and whatnot.

I ask because the last couple shops I've gone to they have done this and they want to add the mayo/mustard type things as the final step and the last time I went they forgot to add it so I had to get packets. How dumb is this? I get so annoyed how corporations like this always change things up. Constant menus changes, policy changes--it never end. I don't like it as a customer and I would absolutely loathe it as an employee.

--you never know--there's no telling if Subway will change how they prepare or make meatball sammiches.

I saw an ad on tv last night when I watched the final Michael Scott episode on The Office. Subway is making a new chicken sandwich and there's new toppings like celery and apple. I can't wait to try it.

I just don't eat at subway. If I want a lunchmeat sammich I can do that at home.

              I went to Subway twice

Both times I basically got bread sandwiches (hardly anything inside)

              IMO they are very over-rated

I'd much rather get a hoagie at my local deli or pizza place

Yeah, I hear that. I'm a big sandwich fiend... Probably my favorite meal. I make a lot of fish and lobster salad sandwiches with what I take out of the ocean. Halibut salad with dijon mayo and chopped olives is my current special. SO good on a toasted bagel with a slice of cheese. Mmmmmmmm

I like Subway well enough, but I mostly go to Sheetz to get subs. Whenever I go back to Subway, I'm a little shocked at how empty their subs are in comparison to what I'm used to getting from Sheetz.

I'm a little confused on the question. Are you saying they're putting the dressing on in the middle of the sandwich or not at all?

I'm finding more and more Subways are having their people make the sandwiches upside down, which ****es me off. I want lettuce/toppings ontop of the meat... Not under it. That always confuses the crap out of me and changes the taste of the sandwich.

                    I'm having Subway for lunch.

Just hold it upside-down when you eat it.

I'm saying their current set up makes the dressing the last stage (on the train) and on more than one occasion it's been forgotten because of the change and how it's at the tail end of the build-a-sandwich line. How does one forget to add such things to a sandwich? The way Subway has always worked was: you pick the type and size of bread. They ask you what kind of sandwich is it and what cheese and then they put dressing and veggies on.

It's a bad idea how the re-arranged the veggies before the dressing and I suspect the owners are the one's responsible for the change. The second to the last time I was there the worker snapped back at me because I wanted to order in the familiar fashion and she told me dressing would be last and she wasn't about to move her position to change up the pattern of how the new layout of build-a-sadnwich is being done.

I imagine I'm like everyone else and at home we tend to add the mayo and mustard, etc at the beginning of making a sandwich. Not as a topping.

I think my next step is going to complain to the corporate office and I suggest anyone else who had a sour experience do the same.

I always take my subs dry, with no dressings. I hate soggy bread.
                            It's all good!
