To posters who are not familiar with both el Santo and Blue Demon...
Santo - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Blue Demon - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Both incredibly popular still to this day....despite both of them being long gone.
Here are very rare pictures of both without their masks...they both kinda looked like Sicilian mobsters...lol....
el Santo (Rodolfo Guzmán Huerta)...
Blue Demon (Alejandro Muñoz Moreno)...

The fourth most popular old school masked luchador after el Santo, Blue Demon, and Mil Mascaras...is Tinieblas.
He was not in the same league as the others as far as being a technical wrestler...he started kinda late (32)...but he was the biggest and strongest Mexican masked luchador of his time...standing at 6' 3" 240 lbs...he was a giant back then...especially in Mexico...
Tinieblas - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This is how I rank them in order of legendary status (old school masked luchadores)...
1. el Santo
2. Blue Demon
3. Mil Mascaras
4. Tinieblas
5. Rayo de Jalisco, Sr.

Here's another cool shot of Blue Demon in his formal get up. Gotta say, I just love the look of luchadores in their swanky after hours gear.

Was there a wrestler by the name of Tito Santana? For some reason I remember that name...possibly fighting Pedro Morales??"When not too many people can see we're all the same
And because of all their tears,
Their eyes can't hope to see
The beauty that surrounds them
Isn't it a pity".
