This is similar to the one I had but the seat's different.

Seat I had was more square.

I still can't find any vintage pics of my old bikes, but I do have a modernish pic of my Pro Thunder when I got it back up to speed somewhere around '05.

This is a version of my first official bike that was not a hand me down. Sears NFL team bike. wooot!
This is a Cleveland Browns version. Mine was Broncos in all its blue and orange glory. Must've weighed 35 lbs. Unbelievable.

                Just had a 70's flashback

Anybody remember the fad of having a 6ft florescent fiberglass pole with a flag on it bolted to the backs of bikes ? (for safety)

                Man, they were horrible

I had a Rampar I was in love with, but I was out of town one weekend and my Mom let a neighbor kid borrow it. He left it on the yard and it got stolen. I could've cried! Mine was just like the one in the pic, but was Flamboyant Copper.

We didn't have a lot of money so I had a Schwinn knock off with the banana seat and rear slick.

My Huffy was replaced by a Shogun 10-speed in the early 80s. Loved the bike and kept it well into the 90s. The last time I rode it, I parked it on my back deck for a few days instead of putting it away, and sure enuff, it was stolen. It wasn't even easy to see from the street, but somebody spotted it.

Still ticks me off. Lots of sentimental value.

Ugh. I had managed to suppress that memory, but it's back.

Hector my second bike was a blue one just like that (second hand) but it had a different seat, and a three speed gear stick.

                                It looked like this:

I must have a photo laying around here somewhere...
