Official - Let's See Your Old Bicycle - thread

Another thread made me wanna see all the different kinds of Museum members old 70's or 80's bikes.
I'm pretty sure we did this a few years ago, but I think it's been long enough to revisit the topic

If you have a pic of your old bike, post it here

Here's my baby I used to call "Captain America" ... picture dated 1974

Awesome. I have one of me next to my beloved white Huffy on Xmas morning circa 1977, but I'd probably have to turn the house upside down to find it.

I have a great one from the early 70's. Just don't know where it is! Same bike as above with extended front fork and roll bar ala Easy Rider!
Too many toys. Not enough space!

I don't know if I would be able to find a pic of my Sears Denver Bronco bike, but this is a pic of the one I REALLLY wanted (but never got).

I'[ve searched several times, both at Ma's house and on-line, to find a picture of the bike that I loved. I got in 1975 or 6. A Huffy dirt bike-ish model with metallic (that's what I think they called it) black paint, a rectangular seat and a plastic number plate on the handle bars.

I still have one of my first bikes and ride it daily. After I learned to ride on an old clunker, I got this one.

              My 1967 Schwinn Hollywood

It belonged to my dad's sister. It was the last thing she requested before she died of leukemia at age ten in 1967. She never got to ride it. My grandparents stored it and it became mine once I was proficient on a bike.

Nice.. mine looked pretty similar to that one too. Same seat (tho mine wasn't up that high), and handlebar grips. Love those grips. And like I said earlier, mine was white.

All mine of me are at my parents. I'd have to go searching for them. But I know of a few I can try and find.

Cool! My bike is right there on the front page!

I'm not completely sure mine was all decked out like that in the Evel Knievel-type stylings (you'd think I'd remember), but it may have been. Damn. Now I gotta find that picture..

                          Thanks for the link!

No one ever took a picture of me on my bike. There's a pic of it in the 1974 Montgomery Wards Christmas catalog. It was a department store special. No brand name, red and white, w/ training wheels. Sadly I never learned to ride a 2 wheeler til I was 13. And I don't have pics of my other 2 bikes either.
