        The beauty that surrounds them

I had this on LP when I was a kid.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

The very first cover I thought of, I think it's WAY better than Bruce's original version

I will also add a nomination for the Ramones Amazing Spiderman theme
I agree about Matallica's Turn the page and Aerosmith's Come Together (possibly the only songs where I like the cover and original versions the same

in the Aerosmith vein the Run DMC Walk this way was great but more of a tribute since Aerosmith joins in

Richard Cheese and Lounge against the Machine's version of Wonderwall in a Burt bacharach style is great. Just what a pretentous band like Oasis deserves

I might as well say it. Any of the ones that were done on The Muppet Show.

A classic song indeed from the late 60s. A band called 'The Coven" (not the name stealing death metal band from the 80s). They struggled through the 70s and even scored a hit "One Tin Soldier."

This band was classic and doing "spooky" things way before the sounds of Alice Cooper or Black Sabbath.

This song "Wicked Woman" is from their 1969 album Witchcraft Reaps minds......etc.

Jinx Dawson (besides having incredible vocal pipes) happens to be a good friend of mine and she is not afraid to talk about the days of hanging out with Jon Lord and the late Tommy Bolin...or what it was like hanging out back stage at a Rolling Stones concert. She's a great person all around! The whole "witchcraft" thing still leaves bad tastes in people's mouths these days (I don't know why)...but I am thankful Ms. Jinx has been helpful to me. .\m/.\m/
I love the sounds of old rock with scary themes...
