The south central PA area has several antique malls, but they're diminishing too. The Antique Marketplace in Hummelstown is still open, but I haven't seen Megos there in a while. I've gotten good scores at Saturday's Market, but haven't seen anything for a while. There are 2 sellers who think they are sitting on a gold mine with nude Kirks and broken Batmen. I think that when someone actually has Megos at flea market prices, those guys buy them and jack up the price. The Williams Grove market is hit or miss, but it's a nice day out. There are still places in Lebanon/Annville, Hershey, Carlisle and Gettysburg, but so many of them have mostly crafts and overpriced 80s comics, I don't bother.

There's a nice outdoor flea market/street fair once or twice per year. They close down the streets surrounding the big traffic circle(basically the town square) and the sidewalks are pretty much lined with tables. Once again, the last time I went I didn't get any Megos, but I saw some other nice old toys and a pretty good comics dealer. We usually go because my mother is antique-crazy and my dad can't do a lot of walking these days. We usually start early, with breakfast at the Lincoln Diner, make our way up and down the streets, and work up an appetite for a nice lunch or ice cream at Distlefink's.Hey!
