After a drive thru both states this past weekend it kinda dawned on me that i didn't see a single ad,flyer, posting etc for flea markets in either state??!! Sheesh even Florida has flea markets ( granted, they are quite a bit different than the ones im used to...but still ) are there any good outdoor flea markets in eastern pa/or nj ??

I used to go to Blue Ridge flea market off rt 33 in Saylorsburg PA but it's getting increasingly worse these past few years.

Same with White Township flea market on rt 46 in near Belvidere NJ

Rt 209 flea market in Marshall's Creek PA closed it's doors for good.

Kutztown PA flea market used to be pretty good (in the summer) but I haven't been there for a few years.

Quakertown PA flea market used to be pretty good but got worse these last few years.

My dad swears up and down that PA is prime picker territory and that if we took a ride up there, I'd find amazing scores. He's pretty behind the times and has it in his head that PA is still primitive (he lived there for years). He's still oblivious to the fact that most of the population has the internet.

But he think he's going to to the PA country side and find a '78 Trans Am in a barn for $500 or a whole basement full of MIB/MOC Star Wars and Mego figures for $20.

I'd like to go to the Stormville Flea Market this summer.

There is a good Flea Market on Long Island here every Sunday. Sometimes I sell there. Every time you go, you are BOUND to find vintage toys and great deals.

Yeah, those days are gone. Not to say that there aren't any '78 Trans Ams sitting in barns anywhere. But with the information age we are in, the people who have them know what they are worth and he will not find anybody willing to sell for $500. He actually would find the opposite. People that have that stuff think they are sitting on gold mines and would want to sell for double what it is worth.

There is a large flea market in the Carlisle area in the spring and summer. I think it is Silver Springs, just west of Harrisburg.

There are two places in NE PA that I know of. There's a nice flee market every Saturday morning on highway 11, at a drive in theater, between Shickshinny and West Nanticoke that we go to.

There is also a Hometown Market in Tamaqua that is open on Wednesdays that we also go to. You can get some great food there too. Lot's of Amish goods.

That seems so weird to me...PA does seem like it would have a ton of flea markets and so does central jersey....so i guess it's all garage sales then??

I used to race in Vineland. Right next to the big Mustang Boneyard. Is that still there? Do you remember a place called the Del Ray?

Most of that moved over to Williams Grove Speedway, just below Camp Hill on rt 11 S. It's on Sunday mornings. There's also Saturday Market in Middletown. It's an indoor/outdoor.

And it's true about Pa prices. People here think it's all gold and worth a fortune. No one really understands price for condition, and they only ever see (or feel they deserve) the top mint price. Regardless of how beat up it is. And to suggest less they act like you're cheating them. Even at the flea mkt, they rarely haggle on price or offer a deal.

I've been gone from Jersey for so long now and i dout the places i use to go too are still there
The one in Berlin NJ use to be a real good spot on sat and sun they had an out door flea market where all you had to do was rent a spot and set up it was a good place for old sportscards comics and toys but when the guy who own the coin and stamp shop inside branched out in to comics and cards the good stuff dryed up and wasn't even worth checking out any longer
I left NJ in 92 so i have no idea if it's even still there or if it's still picked dry
