Oldest device you have that works?

Whats the oldest device you have that you still use? By this I mean one that youve had forever. A old 60's-80s t.v., Old stereo, household devices, even a old vcr, etc,etc...

I have a few 60s typewriters I clunk around on every once in a while. When ever there are any kids here they love them. My wife's 11 year-old cousin's mind was blown when she saw it. She had never seen one before and didn't even get what it was used for at first.

Despite the fact I love all the latest technology, I still have and use my decade old Pioneer surround sound system....it still works perfectly.

BTW, does my 1964 Mustang count?

I still have my Sony cassette walkman. My 15 year old son is using it. He records songs off the radio (just like we did back in the day).

8 track player in perfect working condition. I have about 25 tapes, including The Bay City Rollers, The Star Wars soundtrack, Neil Diamond and other 70's greats. I find when I listen to the same music on CD or digital file, it doesn't sound as "70's"... The tape hiss and tiny speakers make it sound more retro... Like I'm sitting there in my room in 1978, playing with my megos and Star wars figs, listening... Just listening...

                Listening...

I have a small Sharp color television from 1973 that still has a great picture. I keep it in my collector room and have it hooked up to a VCR to play old toy commercials. The screen is probably 10 inches. It reminds me how the good ole days use to be. It's really neat.

Oh yeah - My pioneer record player from the early 70s - I just remembered that.

I also have an old rotary phone in my living room - but I only bought that a year ago.

You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

My Yamaha EQ, Technics linear tracking turntable, and JVC tape deck are all from around 1988. I still have the receipts too but I think the warranties ran out.

I have power and hand tools that belonged to my Grandfather. They are at least 60 years old. My Grandmas old GE waffle maker that is from the early 50's and still works great.

My Father-in-law gave me the 1953 Ford F100 that his dad bought new for the farm in PA. It has 64,000 miles and still runs great. There is tons of old stuff on the farm.
