gas mileage?

I have two gas guzzling V8's...my 302 F-150 truck (EFI)...and my 289 Mustang (carb).

The truck gets a bit better mileage than the Mustang...but who's keeping track...

the 04 Corolla about 22-26

the 91 300zx TT about 9-11

20 mpg....fortunately, that is my round trip commuting distance to work each day. Sure glad I took this job close to home 5 years ago.

I have been unfair...I do love the rav but man it sucks to give up the truck. But 30 miles a gallon will help a lot.

My Hyundai Accent get 37/gal. My Ford Ranger gets less than 20 (I only drive it when I need to haul something). My wife's Honda gets 34. I keep the driving down to as little as possible, and I'm still spending around $100 a month for gas!

That # sounds high for a super coup even for the original window sticker what year is it?

We have 2 Dodge Grand Caravan Sport models with the 3.3 (1999, 2002) and both get about 17-18 city and 24-25 highway at 70mph. The 99 gets a bit less then the 02 since it has just under 250,000 miles on it.


In the summer I mostly ride my motorcycles. The KZ900 gets 45, my RD350 gets over 50, but most of my H2's get about 24. They are notorious for poor gas mileage.



Before the minivans I owned a 1976 and 77 Chrysler New Yorker. Both had 440 engines and if you were lucky you got 12mpg.

Yep. It's so cheap on gas! I did pay $4.55 to fill it last week. That's the most I've had to pay to fill it. Gas is getting really expensive...

My 98 Toyota 4Runner gets about 15 in the city and 19-20 on the highway. Good thing my commute is only about 4 miles round trip. I have to fill it up about every 3 weeks or so. 13 years old and only has 75,000 miles on it.

It's a '90. We went from Colorado back into Texas on one tank of gas averaging over 30mpg.
