...You know you got 'em.....lets hear 'em! Soul, hair bands, rock, pop, hip hop, new wave, Brit pop, house, metal, alternative, 'sappy' stuff, WHATever!
I was a 'coming of age' in the 80s, and it was a very great time for music and memories for me. Bouncing between Upstate NY and the Boroughs throughout most of my youth, I was exposed to so much great stuff. (And some NOT so great stuff..)
Here are two of my favorites.....
This one I have always really dug. I became 'aware' during these years, and this one holds a special place for me. I clearly remember my sister being in the Air Force at the time and being in Belgium for some reason or another, and her telling us via letter that she was a mere BLOCK away from the studio while this was being recorded.

This one here my two twin sisters were always listening to. (They are 44 now...) The song has a decent enough melody and a fairly catchy bridge, but what grabbed me the most was the video. I really like the context of the song, and the video always makes me smile.
