yeah that could be true too JW. I feel sorry for the guy because instead of getting him help they are just going to chronical and cash in on his demise. Its sad really. I have a close friend that suffers from schizophrenia and it is a disease. If it goes unchecked it can get way out of hand. The meds have really helped him have somewhat of a normal life and keep a good job. Without them he is a mess.

I really don't think he's putting on an act. I am only familiar with the symptoms because I have a loved one suffering with a mental illness and have spent quite a bit of time in support groups and attended a pretty intensive 12 week course on mental illness (types, symptoms, causes, etc). It is really difficult for those of us who don't have any type of mental illness to relate (similar to trying to relate to what it feels like to being addicted to drugs if you have never experienced it). Drugs, stress, and many other things can set the disease into high gear. The unfortunate statistic is that the majority of people suffering from untreated mental illness usually have significantly shorter life spans than those without. The good news is that a lot of money is going into medical research to come up with medications that do work and those suffering can live relatively normal lives."The farther we go, the more the ultimate explanation recedes from us, and all we have left is faith."

Of course he's putting on an act. He's manipulating the whole
media/country... I've seen enough David Lee Roth and Charles Manson
interviews to feel confident in this assessment."No. No no no no no no. You done got me talkin' politics. I didn't wanna'. Like I said y'all, I'm just happy to be alive. I think I'll scoot over here right by this winda', let this beautiful carriage rock me to sleep, and dream about how lucky I am." - Chris MannixComment

It's been kind of entertaining, and then you're reminded he's a serial abuser of women. The Disposable Woman - NYTimes.comThis profile is no longer active.Comment

I'm confident David Lee Roth suffers from mental illness and I don't think there is any question that Charles Manson does. Manipulation is a characteristic of mental illness but not in and of itself. It's the pattern of behaviors that make me think mental illness is at play."The farther we go, the more the ultimate explanation recedes from us, and all we have left is faith."

AND HE'S OUTTA THERE! Warner Bros. has fired Sheen from "Two and a Half Men"...Let the legal battle between the big corporation and the Fire-Fisted Vatican Assassin Warlock beginThink OUTSIDE the Box! For the BEST in Repro & Custom Packaging!Comment

Yeah, he's completely gone. I don't see him living past 2011 at this point.
I understand John Stamos is in negotiations to replace him. The show is pretty darn funny. It'll be interesting to see if it's the writers or Sheen's delivery.
ScottI almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.
If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.Comment

my money is on the writers ... it's like they wright the kind of person sheen is so he didn't have to act.Comment

Charlie get's killed in a freak "donkey show" accident. After the mourning is over (oh the funny things that can be said in THOSE eulogies). Next we cut to the reading of the will we find out that Charlie in a moment of drunken, drug induced delusion, he wrote the stalker chick (forgot her name) a note saying that if something were to happen to him she could have it all. In a flashback moment we see that there happened to be a drunken lawyer walking the beach who walked by and notarized it.
So now stolker chick owns everything and as a memorial has a cardboard cut out of Charlie placed on the back patio staring off into the sunset.Comment

it's sad because the guy really is a talented actor and he is throwing it all away. aside from the disatrous marriages he has had, he has young children who will grow up knowing what a train wreck he was. the man really needs help and the media is just feeding on his mania, without regard for his mental state, just so they can get ratings.Comment
-
What a shame about him. Hopefully, he gets the help that he needs somehow or else the alternative is a pretty gruesome future.
As for the show, I predict that Jon Cryer and the kid who is no longer a kid wind up having to take care of a small child, hence the re-boot of the "half" in two and a half. It's all good!Comment

What a complete career collapse. To go from the top paid television actor and number one comedy to unemployed and unwanted by most in Hollywood. That's breath taking to observe. Better take one last snort 'rock star'...The crows are circling over head.Comment
