The aspartame "scare websites" and "scare tactic e-mails" is one of the biggest internet hoaxes ever perpetrated. It is right up there with the Nigerian scams. Thousands of websites picked up on the "dangers of Aspartame" bullcrap. There is absolutely no credible science behind it at all. None. Zero.

Check out snopes.com. It is your friend.

      P.S.

I like diet pop. I do enjoy a delicious milkshake every now and then though I must admit.

        This isn't new. Remember sacharine?

In the late 70's they jammed 50x the times the stuff one would eat in a lifetime into mice. The mice got Cancer so sacharine was branded as Cancer causing.

Now, due to more sensible studies and the realization that rodents and human systems are different Sacharine has been cleared but that was after the fake disrepute Sacharin was put in spurred soft drink manufacturers to use something else. Not the first industry destroyed by junk science nor the last.

Nobody mentioned my fave with burger and fries. I like milk! Dont know why. There is something about the taste of a burger washed down with a big swig of milk. Maybe it makes the meal taste less like fast food. Milkshakes have always been on the desert menu for me. Since back in the day when McD's and Burger King didnt offer much in the desert arena.
